The ninth majlis of the book “Majalis of the month of Ramadan” entitled “Ruling on fasting

Know, may God have mercy on you, that God, may He be glorified, has the perfect ruling on what He created and what He legislated, for He is the Wise in His creation and in His law. Their faith and their worship complemented it.

Among the rulings of God, may He be glorified, is to make various acts of worship in order to test acceptance and contentment, and God will quench those who believe, for some people may be content with one type of worship and abide by it and be angry with another type and overdo it, so God makes ritual acts related to the work of the body such as prayer, and some of them are related to giving the beloved money to the soul As zakat, some of it is related to the work of the body and the spending of all money, such as Hajj and jihad, and some of it is related to the cessation of the soul from its loved ones and desires, such as fasting.

From the rule of fasting: that it is an act of worship to God Almighty, in which the servant becomes closer to his Lord by leaving his beloved ones and his desires of food, drink and marriage.

· And from the ruling on fasting: that a reason for piety, as God Almighty said: “O those who believe, the fasting is prescribed for you, as it was written for those before you who prayed before you.” (Whoever does not allow false utterance and act upon it and ignorance, God has no need to leave his food and drink)) Narrated by Al-Bukhari.

Among the rule of fasting: that the heart abandons thought and remembrance, because eating desires requires negligence and may harden the heart and blind the truth. Therefore, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, instructed to reduce food and drink, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Whatever the son of Adam filled a vessel of evil from the belly according to Ibn Adam is for Qayimat to straighten his crucifixion, and if it is inevitable, then a third for his food, a third for his drink, and a third for himself)) Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah.

And from the ruling on fasting: that the rich know the extent of the blessing of God Almighty upon him with wealth, as God Almighty has blessed him with food, drink and marriage, and he has forbidden many people. He praises God for this blessing and thanks him for this facilitation. It contained his awrah and helped him with his hunger, and that is why the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ((The best of people was the best in Ramadan when Gabriel, peace be upon him, met him and studied the Qur’an)).

From the ruling on fasting: to exercise self-control and control it and the power to hold its reins so that he can control it and lead it to what is good and happy for the soul, because the soul is a sign of bad except for what God has mercy on, and if a person gives himself his self-control, it causes him to perish, and if he possesses and controls it he is able From its leadership to the highest ranks and the most demanding.

Among the rule of fasting is: breaking the soul and limiting its pride until it submits to the truth and softens the morals. Satisfaction, irrigation and intimacy with women leads each of them to evil, patience, height, and pride over creation and the truth, and that when the soul needs these matters, it is occupied with achieving it, and if it is able to see that it has achieved what is required, it will happen to it. Of the blameworthy joy and self-sacrifice that is the cause of its destruction and the infallible one who is infallible by God Almighty

From the ruling on fasting: The blood streams narrow because of hunger and thirst, and the channels of Satan narrow from the body, because Satan flows from the son of Umm the blood stream as proven in the two Sahihs on the authority of God’s Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, so she dwells by fasting and the surah of desire and anger is broken and therefore the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said. And greetings (0 O young men, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him marry, for it is more closed to the eyes and fortified to the vagina, and whoever is unable to do it, then he has to fast, then it is for him and he came)) Agreed upon. He made fasting and came to the desire of marriage, and he broke its intensity

Among the ruling on fasting: the health benefits that result from it, which are obtained by reducing food, resting the digestive system for a certain period, depositing some moisture and waste material harmful to the body, and so on, so what is the greatest wisdom of God Almighty
